Senior Android Developer

Job Summary

The selected candidate will own the end-to-end development of native Android applications, following coding standards, architecture guidelines, and security practices. They will work with stakeholders to define requirements, deliver high-quality features, provide technical leadership, mentor team members, support production stability, and drive best practices across projects. What you will be doing You will build and enhance native Android applications in Kotlin and deliver smooth user experiences. You will work with designers, product managers, and backend teams to bring features to life, take part in code reviews, and improve app performance. You will also mentor junior developers, troubleshoot production issues, and keep up with the latest Android technologies.

Key Responsibilities

    Develop native Android applications using Kotlin.
    Apply architecture and design patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture, and integrate third-party libraries using Gradle.
    Write unit and UI tests using JUnit and Espresso.
    Deliver end-to-end solutions, including design, development, testing, deployment, and Play Store release management.
    Mentor others, set coding standards, and drive technical decisions across distributed teams.
    Implement RESTful APIs and networking best practices, including caching, error handling, and security.
    Participate in code reviews, pull requests, and collaborative development in Agile/Scrum.
    Work with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
    Use Jetpack components such as Navigation, ViewModel, LiveData, and Room, along with modern Android development tools.
    Support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Gradle, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise for automated builds and deployments.
    Apply Google Material Design guidelines to build accessible and user-friendly interfaces.
