Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. In this role, you will own the end-to-end data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation to storage, quality, and delivery—while collaborating closely with onshore teams, product owners, and business stakeholders. You will play a key part in modernizing the data landscape, improving reliability and performance, and enabling data-driven decision-making, with a strong emphasis on financial domain processes where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services.

Analyze existing data architecture and implement optimizations to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.

Collaborate with onshore teams, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines to ensure reliability, availability, and performance.

Integrate data from multiple sources while maintaining data quality, consistency, validation, and governance standards.

Define data mappings and build complex datasets to support analytics and machine learning requirements.

Perform testing and validation of data pipelines and transformations.

Implement data security, privacy, and continuous improvement practices.

Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD practices.

Contribute to data warehouse architecture, technical design, and engineering standards.

Evaluate emerging data technologies and apply improvements to existing solutions.
