Senior Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will design, execute, and automate comprehensive testing strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

    Develop and implement detailed test plans based on project requirements and technical specifications.
    Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
    Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering unit, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing.
    Create clear and well-structured test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
    Perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, usability, reliability, and performance.
    Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated test scripts and test suites.
    Identify opportunities to expand test automation and improve testing efficiency and coverage.
    Identify, document, track, and manage software defects throughout their complete lifecycle.
    Collaborate with development teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and quality issues.
    Provide clear defect reports, testing progress updates, and quality insights to stakeholders.
    Participate actively in project meetings and contribute to quality assurance and testing discussions.
